MMA online gaming!!
"Wow" I hear you all call.
There are two games that I currently am in the process of learning and playing
with regards to the whole MMA scene, they are MMarmy and Deckagon. MMarmy is a
simple little unit which you can do twice a day where as Deckagon is a little
more complex and takes a little bit more time to get used too!
I started playing MMarmy.com
first as a recommendation from a good friend of mine Sensei Huntley, he said
"try this dude its awesome"; so you know what I did I actually went and had a
go. I signed up and created my own little camp "WPUK" and started fighting.
I then thought there must be more to online gaming than this so I
searched Google and found Deckagon.org. This one is very different you have to
watch your purse strings do extra training sort out more strategies and it’s
only once a week, plus you can build your dojo up and you start in a GARAGE!!!
My online camp for this is Nuzik.
So that's how it started. And now you get to hear about me and how bad I
currently am at them both! Yes both.
MMarmy.com: so far I’m
24-41 and sucking a little bit as you can tell by those stats! My first major
problem is that I have only really just become a fan of MMA and I don't have any
martial arts background at all, so when I see these different strategies I can
use for my fighter I have to semi guess on what one to be using, which makes
life a little hard. I'm learning all the time though and some of my fighters are
actually doing ok now and I expect them to get into the positive figures soon!
Fingers crossed hey? The biggest thing I hate about the game is the fact of how
much all the upgrades cost, they jump from $5,000 to $50,000 and that’s a lot of
virtual dollars. So my gym as a consequence has barely scratched the surface.
My best fighter is Amyr "the real
deal" Teixeira and here is a photo of my
current stats after one week.
Deckagon.org: Now I
started this and was luck fuck me what the hell is going on here!! It didn't
make a whole lot of sense to be fair. But a quick read of the forum and a little
trial and error you quickly see your way around and understand where they are
coming from. On this game you only fight once a week with a choice of fighters
from your camp in training matches. You then have an option if you want to
promote one to superstar! Like all men I delved right in and promoted one!! This
may not be the best idea because he isn't great but was the best I had, and now
after a further read he won't progress technically like the rest of my fighters.
There is a positive to this though superstars are the big money earners and they
still earn more money than a trainee so I could be rolling in it soon. I doubt
it but I could. Now you go to training and think FUCK!!! What am I doing? You
need to hire a coach I know; you would think all good Dojo's would already have
a coach but not this time. You also have to pay a scout to find you a coach,
which can be annoying if you don't initially realize that he is charging you per
find and it can be extra annoying to find out that the coach he finds you, is
either shit or you can't afford his wages. bummer. So I went for the second
coach he found me and judging by the forums that seems to be what most people
are doing and as I am an average Jo that's what I’ll do (baaah). You also if you
want you don't have to can pay £12 to them for the privileges of seeing your
stats update and some extra customization of your superstars (wow). And I think
that’s a small price to pay for all the hard work the guys put in for the game.
its close season at the moment so it actually hasn't started yet I’m just
learning some things and a little more about the sport. And seeing how my guys
do in training. I have also just sorted out my tactics and picked my fighters
for the first match which takes place on the 16th Feb. I'll keep you posted on
it. If you want to join my league I am in Novice league 7, so feel free to join and see if you
can do any better. I've uploaded a
photo of my fighters so you can
see their names and my "SuperStar".
That’s all I have to say about the games at the moment. I have a massive shout
out to Sensei Nick Huntley who has just qualified for Ju-Jitsu Nationals this
week and they take place in November somewhere in the midlands but if you want
to see one of his matches
I don't just want to entertain you with my MMA gaming skills and updates I'm
also going to give you some videos too so you can see some amazing MMA moments
and here is two for the time being.
The first is an amazing first round and the
second is like bang bang that didn't hurt one bit!!
Thanks
Nuzik Dude
